The Rooms

Each student before arriving at Finlandia University is assigned a roommate. A bed and desk/dresser are the only pieces of furniture in your room when you arrive. The restrictions are loose, and you can arrange your room however you want. The Bathroom situation consists of a toilet and shower being shared between a room in a jack and jill style layout. The sink is located in your room and is shared between two roommates. Living in the dormitories will help you socialize, especially in your first year. You’ll be surrounded by kids eager to meet new acquaintances, making the process much easier. You will be sharing a room with someone if you live on campus. It’s all fun and games until you realize how little alone time you have. I personally have my car where I can find alone time.
